Kerbal Space Program (KSP) is a Spaceflight Simulation Game.
The game challenges players to design, build, and pilot their vessels in a physics-based universe. KSP-1, launched by Squad in 2011, has gained a loyal following due to its entertaining yet educational gameplay that combines Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM).

Analyzing the KSP-1 Flight HUD and Player Interactions
The KSP-1 flight cluster features an array of dials and readouts providing essential flight statistics like speed, altitude, and orientation, which are crucial for piloting your craft. It displays 17 flight-related metrics on screen, facilitating 7 different player interactions.
## AUDITING & MAPPING
After utilizing journey and empathy maps, we uncovered that players were feeling overwhelmed by the volume of information, leading to disconnection and confusion from related readouts and interactions. In addition, among the 7 different flight-related data points, 3 are hidden interactions, while it's not clear that the remaining 4 are interactive.

The Primary Source for Tracking Your Spacecraft's Health and Performance.
The redesign of KSP-2's Flight Cluster was a strategic process involving the repositioning and grouping information based on their relationships. The introduction of a visual hierarchy emphasized key data while visual cues were provided. Information related to each other was brought closer together for ease of access and reference.
## MAPPING & VISUAL CUES
The approach was centered on crafting interactions with a clear and distinct purpose. We employed affinity mapping to pinpoint data associated with particular scenarios. To ensure clarity in these situations, visual cues like icons and specific shapes were incorporated.
